The direction and nature of support which the public sector gives to the technical textiles sector, is determined largely by the industry itself.

 

NWtexnet has an Industrial Advisory Panel which meets quarterley; this panel has a number of functions:

 

1.  Update NWtexnet and fellow industrialists on current economic conditions

2.  To share best practice

3.  To articulate the concerns and needs of the sector in the short and long term

4.  To review the proposed actions of NWtexnet (are doing what indsutry requires)

5.  To review the progress of NWtexnet (is what we said we were doing making any difference to the sector)

6.  To hear from the NWtexnet team on latest initiatives, funding streams and policy updates which may effect the sector

7.  To review strategy
